What You’ll Be Doing (The Role)

Supporting senior Quantity Surveyors with commercial management across multiple conservation projects
Assisting with valuations, variations, subcontractor payments, and cost reporting
Helping to manage procurement and tender comparisons for specialist trades
Attending site visits, taking measurements, and supporting cost analysis and forecasting
Preparing project documentation in line with contract and heritage requirements
Working closely with site teams and consultants to ensure financial accuracy and compliance About You

Experience in an Assistant QS or QS role within construction, ideally with refurbishment or traditional build exposure
Interest in heritage, listed buildings, and traditional materials like stone, timber, lime, and lead
Strong numeracy, attention to detail, and willingness to learn from senior professionals
Familiar with core QS tasks such as cost control, subcontractor accounts, and valuations
Degree-qualified or working towards a qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
Motivated to develop in a specialist sector and take on more responsibility over time About the Company
