Site Engineer – Cork

An established residential developer is hiring a Site Engineer for a large-scale project in Cork. This is a 2-year fixed-term role, ideal for an ambitious engineer looking to work on a high-quality residential scheme.
You’ll play a key role in setting out works, monitoring quality control, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring site documentation is accurate and up to date. Experience with RC frames and residential projects is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Setting out for foundations, groundworks, RC frames, services, and house plots
• Coordinate and manage site drawings and surveys
• Oversee subcontractor work and ensure quality standards are met
• Monitor groundworks and civil engineering contractors
• Maintain detailed site records and QA documentation
• Liaise closely with site and project teams to support timely and high-quality delivery

Requirements
• 2–3+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Degree (Level 8) in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• RC frame experience desirable
• Motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently and as part of a team
