Business Development Executive

They are looking for an ambitious and hardworking sales professional to excel in a dynamic and rewarding environment. You will use your expertise and talent to achieve and exceed sales targets by promoting their tool hire and site supplies services across London and the Home Counties.
Acting as a brand ambassador, you will represent our company with professionalism and confidence, building strong relationships with key decision-makers in the construction industry. Your friendly and approachable manor will allow you to understand customer needs, negotiate tailored solutions, and deliver exceptional customer service that ensures satisfaction and long-term loyalty.

Responsibilities and KPIs:
* Grow your customer base
* Actively identify and target new leads & convert to customers
* Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers, from site managers to procurement teams.
* Understand customers’ unique needs and provide tailored solutions to meet those requirements.
* Plan and execute a strategic schedule of visits to engage new and existing clients.
* Accurately log customer interactions, leads, and opportunities in the CRM system to track progress
* Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
* Meet specific goals for new customer acquisitions within the assigned territory.
* Deliver upselling and cross-selling results by increasing average spend per customer.
* Maintain 100% accuracy and up-to-date customer records in the CRM system.
* Log all interactions, including meetings, calls, and follow-ups, within 24 hours.
* Generate and update sales pipeline reports weekly to track progress against targets.
Requirements of the Sales Executive/BDM:
* A proven sales track record in the construction trade & tool hire industry.
* Evidence of success with existing customer relationships.
* A passion for achieving (and exceeding) goals to earn unlimited bonuses.
* The ability to build rapport and negotiate at all levels.
* Smartly presented and ready to represent First Response with pride.
* Comfortable using CRM systems to track and manage your sales pipeline.
