Highways Framework Civil Engineering
Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in delivering civil infrastructure through public sector frameworks? We're seeking a capable and motivated PM to take the lead on a portfolio of impactful highway and infrastructure schemes across Cambridge, as part of the Eastern Highways Alliance (EHA) Framework.
Location: Must be based within 1 hour of Cambridge or willing to travel in and around this area.
Salary: £70,000-£80,000
Car Allowance: £600/month

The Role:
You'll be managing a diverse range of civil engineering projects with values from £3 million to £40 million, starting within the next three months. These include both Design & Build and Build-only schemes, depending on project scope and value.
The projects aim to deliver vital upgrades to transport networks, roadways, junctions, and active travel routes across the region-supporting community growth and improving public infrastructure.

Covering multiple live and upcoming schemes across Essex and Cambridgeshire
Strong funding environment with continued pipeline of works
Opportunity to lead and deliver from pre-construction through to completion
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience managing civil engineering or infrastructure projects within a framework environment
Strong leadership and stakeholder coordination skills
Familiarity with public sector infrastructure delivery processes
Flexible across both D&B and Build-only project models
Based within one hour of Cambridge
