Salary: £40,000 – £70,000 per annum (DOE)

A highly respected international geotechnical consultancy is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join their team in Milton Keynes. The Role:
You’ll play a key part in the design and assessment of geotechnical structures, with a focus on tailings dams and mine waste facilities. The role is office-based in Milton Keynes 3 days/week, with occasional short-term site visits.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and analysis of geotechnical structures including tailings dams
*
Slope stability, seepage, and settlement modelling
*
Technical report writing and drawing preparation
*
Coordination with clients and project stakeholders
*
Supporting senior engineers in project delivery
Essential Requirements:
*
MEng in Civil Engineering (minimum qualification)
*
Strong academic and practical foundation in geotechnical engineering
*
A clear interest in pursuing a long-term career in geotechnical design
*
Current UK residency with right to work
*
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Desirable:
*
Experience in tailings or mine waste engineering
*
Familiarity with geotechnical modelling tools
*
Previous consultancy or site-based experience
