Our client, a well-respected and award-winning civil engineering contractor, is looking to strengthen their team in Aberdeen with the appointment of an experienced Site Engineer. The Role
As Site Engineer, you'll play a key role in the delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure schemes, providing technical support on site, ensuring works are set out accurately, and contributing to a safe and high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out setting out and site surveying
Interpreting drawings and specifications to ensure works are delivered accurately
Supporting the implementation of management strategies on site
Overseeing and upholding health & safety and quality control standards
Obtaining and managing permits and statutory approvals
Maintaining compliance with company quality procedures
Ensuring projects are delivered within agreed timescales and budgets
Mentoring junior engineering staff
Assisting with other site-based engineering tasks as required
What We’re Looking For
Prior experience in a similar Site Engineer role with a civil engineering contractor
Proven experience in setting out for groundworks and infrastructure
Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering (HND, HNC or Degree)
Familiarity with CAD or ground modelling software is desirable, though not essential
Valid CSCS card and UK driving licence
