Site Manager (Joiner to Trade) – Student Residence Refurbishment
Glasgow | 8–9 Week Contract | Start: 14th July
Competitive Daily Rate | Monday to Friday | Potential Weekend Work

We’re recruiting on behalf of a client who has secured a student accommodation refurbishment project in central Glasgow. Following positive discussions, we’re now looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager, ideally with a joinery background, to support project delivery from mid-July.

Project Details:

Refurbishment of bedrooms, corridors, kitchens and common areas within a live student accommodation building

Duration: 8 to 9 weeks, starting 14th July

Based Glasgow (daily parking approx. £10)

Working hours: 07:45 – 16:45, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend requirements

Role Responsibilities:

Overseeing daily site operations and coordinating trades

Ensuring health and safety compliance and maintaining site standards

Managing snagging lists and quality assurance

Reporting to the senior site lead based on-site

Requirements:

SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid at Work (all three are essential)

Background as a Joiner is highly desirable

Demonstrated experience delivering refurbishment projects, ideally within occupied buildings

Strong communication and site management skills
