Project Manager

An established, multidisciplinary consultancy based in Manchester is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join their vibrant and growing team. The Project Manager will be instrumental in delivering a wide range of high-profile schemes within the government, bluelight, and defence sectors, working with a supportive and ambitious group of professionals.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a confident and motivated Project Manager with at least five years of experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects from inception through to completion. The Project Manager will play a key role in building and maintaining strong client relationships, delivering value across multiple sectors, and contributing to the mentorship and development of junior colleagues.

The Project Manager's Role

The Project Manager will oversee the day-to-day delivery of projects, ensuring that key milestones are met and high standards maintained. Core responsibilities include developing project strategies, managing risk and change processes, attending and chairing meetings, and liaising closely with clients, contractors, and consultants.

You will also produce cost plans, lead procurement efforts, and ensure seamless coordination between internal teams and the wider supply chain. Experience in pre- and post-contract delivery, along with working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts, is essential. Familiarity with local authorities, healthcare Trusts, and large-scale public projects is highly desirable.

The Project Manager

Ideally 5 years' experience in a project management role

Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills

Expertise across the full project lifecycle

Relevant qualifications: BSc/MSc in Project Management, Construction Management, or similar

Chartered or working towards chartership (MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB)

Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities

Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
