Electrical Manager – Guildford (Critical Site)

Are you a highly experienced and driven Electrical Manager looking for a challenging and rewarding leadership role within a critical environment?

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Electrical Manager to join our team in Guildford. This is a crucial role overseeing all electrical maintenance and operations within a critical site, demanding strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage a team effectively.

What You'll Do:

Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and support.
Oversee all aspects of electrical maintenance, including preventative and reactive work, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
Manage budgets and resources effectively.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Provide technical expertise and support for complex electrical issues.
Participate in the on-call escalation rota, providing technical support and guidance as needed.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.* Undertake Authorised Person (AP) duties as required.

What You'll Need:

Proven experience as an Electrical Manager or Supervisor within a critical setting
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent technical knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.
Proven experience in managing budgets and resources.
City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) – essential.
18th Edition wiring regulations knowledge – essential.
Experience in undertaking AP duties – essential.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Competitive salary of £50,000 per year.
Monday to Friday working hours (8am – 5pm).
