Repairs Manager – Oxford, Oxfordshire – Flexible (Mainly Home + Site) Working – Client Side – Daily Rate £400 Umbrella / CIS or £300 PAYE + holiday, employers NI etc. – 37 hrs pw – Local Government – Domestic Stock – Long Term (6-12 months initially with possibility of extending or going permanent) – Secure Contract

Duties for the position of Repairs Manager in Oxfordshire include:
* To lead and take responsibility for the repairs service on a stock of circa 8,000 homes
* Manage the repairs using the preferred contractor, ensure high productivity and oversee the scheduling of work
* Manage the in-house surveying teams within Damp & Mould, Day to Day repairs and Voids
* Specify and resolve complex repair problems
* Manage KPIs to assess performance
* Manage responsive repair contractors
* Budgetary control for the in-house team and external contractors
* Manage the day to day repairs service including Damp & Mould and Voids works
* Lead the responsive repairs response to emergency situations
* Providing a reliable and robust support service for key compliance areas. Including support of quality control checks, updating and management of compliance systems to ensure adherence to all relevant legislation and good practice.
* To engage with Property Services colleagues who are responsible for managing projects.
* Developing, delivering and promoting effective communications, teamwork and engagement with internal and external stakeholders and partners to ensure the delivery of efficient services.
* Benchmark good practise and keep up to date with current legislation.
* To contribute to resident engagement where required, particularly ensuring that concerns are recorded, monitored and dealt with appropriately.
* Produce regular reporting on performance.
* The ability to work from home, office or site locations as required to deliver the role, demonstrating a flexible approach to working as part of the team in support of service objectives.
* Deliver high performance, strong engagement and a commitment to continuous improvement in support of the People Strategy and the client’s values.
