About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager / Pre-Construction Manager to join our team, focusing on complex cut and carve structural projects across Central and West London.

This role is heavily involved in the pre-construction phase, supporting the planning, coordination, and technical delivery of structural refurbishment works—often in live or constrained environments. Candidates should have experience working on technically challenging projects from early-stage involvement through to delivery handover.

Key Responsibilities

Lead pre-construction efforts on structural cut & carve and heavy refurbishment schemes.

Develop and coordinate construction methodologies, sequencing, and logistics strategies.

*

Review and manage temporary works proposals and ensure buildability of structural solutions.

*

Interface with in-house delivery teams, designers, estimators, and external consultants.

*

Participate in bid support and technical submissions to help secure new work.

*

Conduct early-stage risk assessments and programme reviews to inform project strategy.

*

Ensure all works comply with the latest safety and quality standards.

What We’re Looking For

✅ Experience:

*

5 to 10 years' relevant experience in the construction sector.

*

Preferably from a structural subcontractor background.

*

Hands-on experience with cut and carve, structural alteration, or complex refurbishment projects in urban environments.

✅ Skills & Attributes:

Strong technical understanding of structural systems and temporary works.

*

Clear communicator with confidence in managing multiple stakeholders.

*

Proficient in construction planning, methodology development, and risk management.

*

Able to work independently with initiative and attention to detail.
