Project Manager

This consultancy is seeking a motivated Project Manager to manage individual projects or lead workstreams on major infrastructure programmes. As a Project Manager, you will work alongside a team of planners, commercial specialists, and quantity surveyors in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment. Based in Leeds, the successful Project Manager will help drive the delivery of complex programmes while supporting the wider growth ambitions of the North East transportation team.
The Project Manager's role
The successful Project Manager will take responsibility for the development, design, delivery and handover of a variety of infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include preparing and maintaining project management plans, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations (including CDM), and managing cost, time, and quality targets. The Project Manager will also liaise with stakeholders, statutory bodies, and technical teams, while administering contracts-particularly NEC forms-to deliver successful project outcomes.
The Project Manager
Degree qualified in a relevant discipline (e.g. Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management)
Chartered or working towards membership with APM or equivalent body
Broad project management experience
Strong working knowledge of project controls and NEC contract administration
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider team
Proficient in Microsoft Office software
Willing to travel to regional client sites when required

£45,000 – £55,000 per annum depending on experience
