Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer looking for your next challenge? Join a dynamic and forward-thinking consultancy working on a diverse range of projects across commercial, residential, and mixed-use sectors.
My client are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated engineer to play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical designs from concept to completion. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute innovative solutions, and help shape sustainable and efficient building systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop electrical design solutions in line with client briefs, current standards, and sustainability goals
* Produce design documentation, including specifications, calculations, drawings, and reports
* Conduct site surveys and attend client/design meetings
* Work alongside other engineers and project stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery
* Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices
Requirements:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
* Proven experience in building services design, ideally within a consultancy environment
* Strong understanding of British Standards, IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671), and relevant codes of practice
* Proficiency with industry software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech or similar
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to manage workload effectively across multiple projects
