A well-established and design-focused architectural practice in Guildford is seeking a talented and proactive Architectural Technologist to join its growing team. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across a range of sectors, including commercial, residential, retail, and education. This RIBA-chartered firm blends technical precision with a commitment to innovation.

The ideal candidate will bring solid experience in the retail sector and demonstrate confidence running projects across all RIBA stages. A strong knowledge of UK building regulations, excellent attention to detail, and a collaborative approach are essential.

Responsibilities:

Produce detailed construction drawings and technical specifications in collaboration with the wider design team
Manage projects through all RIBA stages, including site coordination and client liaison
Ensure designs are fully compliant with current UK building regulations and best practice
Undertake regular site visits to monitor project progress and ensure design integrity
Support planning applications and building control documentation
Coordinate effectively with architects, consultants, and contractors throughout the design and delivery processExperience:

Degree (or equivalent) in Architectural Technology
Strong technical knowledge of UK building regulations, construction detailing and materials
Proven track record delivering retail projects, ideally within a UK practice
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
