Sub Agent

Location: Hinkley Point C, Somerset (Site-based) Contract Type: Contract (Inside IR35) Duration: Long-term

The Role: Seeking a proactive Sub Agent to drive delivery on one of the UK's most significant new nuclear power station projects. You'll lead a section of work, ensuring flawless execution on this complex site.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead & Manage: Oversee site engineering teams and subcontractors; ensure safe, efficient, high-quality work.
Programme Ownership: Develop short-term plans, track progress, and optimize resource allocation.
Technical Authority: Interpret designs, manage quality records (LTQRs), and solve site technical issues.
Commercial Acumen: Track early warnings, CEs, NCRs, RFIs, and advise on contractual liabilities.
Temporary Works: Manage design, inspections, and permits for critical temporary works.
Collaborate: Liaise effectively with clients, designers, and subcontractors.
Safety Champion: Drive a robust H&S culture and ensure full compliance.Requirements:

Civil Engineering Degree (or equivalent).
Proven Sub Agent/Senior Engineer experience on large-scale infrastructure/heavy civils, ideally in a highly regulated environment.
Demonstrable experience in earthworks, drainage, or structures/FRC is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of temporary works management and NEC contracts.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid at Work essential. UK Driving License.
