Contracts Manager

A well-established and reputable housing contractor are looking to appoint a highly capable Contracts Manager to oversee multiple residential development sites across the region.

The company specialise in new-build affordable and social housing projects, working closely with local authorities and housing associations to deliver sustainable, community-focused schemes across the North West

The Role

As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of several housing projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You'll play a pivotal role in driving performance on site and maintaining strong relationships with clients, supply chain partners, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the operational delivery of multiple housing construction projects.
Coordinate and manage site teams, subcontractors, and consultants.
Monitor programme and cost performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.
Report project progress to senior leadership, identifying and managing risks proactively.Candidate

Proven track record in a Contracts Manager role within the residential sector.
Experience delivering volume or affordable housing schemes (traditional build and/or timber frame).
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Commercially aware with an understanding of budgets, forecasting, and cost control.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Relevant certifications (SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS Black Card, NVQ Level 6 or equivalent).What's on Offer
