About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a prestigious high-end retail fit out and refurbishment project located in King’s Cross, London. The project will run for approximately 3.5 to 4 months and involves the delivery of high-spec finishes and exceptional attention to detail within a busy and high-profile location.
Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-day management of site operations to ensure delivery on time and to the highest standard
Coordination of subcontractors and trades to maintain programme and quality expectations
Enforcing health and safety protocols on-site
Maintaining site records and reporting progress to project stakeholders
Liaising with clients, consultants, and suppliers professionally
Overseeing delivery and installation of premium finishes and bespoke joinery elements
Requirements:
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) – Essential
CSCS Card (Black, White or Gold) – Essential
First Aid at Work Certification – Essential
Asbestos Awareness Certificate – Essential
Fire Marshal Certification – Essential
Demonstrable experience managing high-end fit out/refurbishment projects, preferably in retail environments
Strong leadership skills and ability to manage in fast-paced environments
Keen eye for detail with a drive for quality and precision
Excellent organisational and communication abilities
A joinery background would be highly desirable but is not essential
Desirable Attributes:
Professional demeanour and able to represent the company to clients and external stakeholders
Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining programme and quality expectations
Previous experience working in central London or similar high-profile retail locations
