Role Overview

Ensure the organization's environmental responsibilities are met. Oversee Soilflo, track materials, liaise with regulators, interpret data, and advise on best practice.

Key Responsibilities

– Manage Soilflo system and material movement tracking.

– Organise and manage all material movements.
– Create and maintain stockpile maps.
– Maintain up-to-date knowledge of waste/environmental regulations.
– Engage with environmental regulators and manage site audits related to environmental compliance.
– Understand and communicate soil chemical analysis and technical documents.
– Communicate environmental issues to a range of audiences.
– Represent the company on environmental matters.
– Identify and classify soil types.

– Production of MMPs (Materials Management Plans).

Key Competencies

– Technical knowledge of soil, waste, and environmental law.
– Commercial mindset.

– Strong regulatory liaison and audit experience.

Qualifications & Experience

– Degree in Environmental Science or similar.
– 5 years' experience in the construction or environmental sector.
– Member of a professional body and working towards chartership.
– Soil analysis and regulatory engagement experience.

Desirable Attributes

– Construction/remediation industry exposure.
– Familiarity with environmental regulations.

Working Conditions

– Office and field based
– Travel required to site
