Facade Estimator

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a specialist façade and cladding contractor based in Medway. Our client is known for delivering high-quality, innovative solutions across commercial and residential construction projects. About the Role:

As an Experienced Façade Estimator, you’ll play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive tenders for façade and cladding projects. You’ll work closely with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure all aspects of the tender process are completed to a high standard and within tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

* Produce detailed cost estimates for façade and cladding works

* Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and tender documentation

* Undertake take-offs and measure quantities from drawings

* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate quotations

* Prepare and submit tender packages in line with client requirements

* Identify risks, value engineering opportunities, and propose cost-effective alternatives

* Participate in pre- and post-tender meetings as required

* Support the smooth handover of successful tenders to the project delivery team

* Maintain and update the estimating database and pricing tools

Requirements:

* Minimum 3 years of experience in façade/cladding estimating

* Strong knowledge of external envelope systems, materials, and construction methods

* Excellent analytical, commercial, and negotiation skills

* Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and specifications

* Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office

* Strong communication and time management skills
