Senior Technical Services Manager – Public Sector & Commercial Fit-Out – London

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Technical Services Manager to lead MEP coordination and delivery across multiple high-profile projects in London, with a particular focus on occupied sites and public sector frameworks. This is a critical role supporting project leadership teams in maintaining technical excellence, safety, and client satisfaction throughout complex construction lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:

* Act as the lead technical authority for MEP systems across projects from pre-construction through commissioning and handover.

* Manage the review, coordination, and approval of designs, CDP submissions, technical queries, and buildability solutions.

* Conduct tender reviews, validations, gap analysis, and support procurement of MEP works packages.

* Chair regular services and coordination meetings with consultants, subcontractors, and client representatives.

* Ensure installations are executed safely, on time, and to exacting quality standards.

* Oversee commissioning strategy, sequencing, witnessing, and training to ensure a seamless handover.

* Support post-handover activities, including seasonal commissioning and aftercare.

* Supervise junior TSMs and support site teams through technical mentoring and quality leadership.

What We’re Looking For:

* Previous experience working on Public Sector Frameworks (e.g., NHS, DfE, MoJ, etc.) is highly desirable.

* Ability to operate confidently on occupied sites with full awareness of stakeholder sensitivity and operational continuity.

* Strong MEP background – either mechanical or electrical – with site-based technical delivery experience.

* Skilled at managing interface between design, commercial, and site teams.

* Technically competent in commissioning protocols, compliance, RAMS, and quality close-out.

* Highly proficient in software tools such as MS Project or Asta, and well-versed in O&M and handover documentation.

* Trade or degree-qualified with SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS as standard.
