Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Enfield, Greater London
Salary/Benefits: £25k – £42k + Training & Benefits
Our client is a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy, with a good reputation and busy portfolio. They have recently won new contracts in the South East of England, as such, they are seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor, who can integrate smoothly into the team as well as maintaining strong service standards. The role will involve travel across: Enfield, Harlow, Bishop's Stortford, Chelmsford, Billericay, Epping, Chigwell, Romford, Hornchurch, Ilford, Barking, Dagenham, Cheshunt, Potters Bar, Watford, Hatfield, St Albans, Harpenden, Luton, Hitchin, Buntingford, Dunstable, Harrow, Wembley, Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard, Braintree, Basildon, Wickford.
Experience / Qualifications:
– Will hold the BOHS P402 qualification, or RSPH equivalent
– Strong experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor, ideally within a UKAS accredited outfit
– Conversant in HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines
– Comfortable using IT software to complete reports, such as: TEAMS and Microsoft Office
– Good literacy skills
– Able to discuss technical matters directly with clients
The Role:
– Conducting management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
– Working across a mixed portfolio of commercial, domestic and industrial client sites
– Completing site-specific reports, including floorplans and relevant drawings
– Safely collecting ACM samples from site
– Meeting with clients to discuss report findings
– Ensuring to meet agreed personal targets
– Wearing correct PPE at all times on site
