Fabric Engineer

Description
Perform routine inspections and maintenance of property fabric components.
Identify and address minor repairs, ensuring all work meets quality standards.
Assist in the planning and execution of refurbishment projects.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations of facilities.
Manage and maintain tools and equipment required for property repairs.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all tasks.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
Provide support in emergency situations, including out-of-hours callouts when necessary.Profile
A successful Fabric Engineer should have:
Previous experience in property maintenance or a similar role within the not-for-profit sector.
Practical knowledge of building fabric repairs, including carpentry, plastering, and decorating.
Understanding of health and safety standards in a facilities environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
