Assistant Quantity Surveyor

My client is a dynamic and forward-thinking consultancy with a reputation for delivering exceptional service across a range of high-profile construction and infrastructure projects. As their company continue to grow, we’re seeking a skilled and driven M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects with prestigious clients across the UK.

About the role:

* Prepare and manage M&E cost plans, budgets, and estimates.

* Conduct detailed cost analysis and risk assessments.

* Manage procurement processes, tender evaluations, and contract awards.

* Monitor project finances, value engineering, and cost reporting.

* Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

* Provide advice on contractual claims and dispute resolution related to M&E packages

About the requirements:

* Proven experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor within consultancy or contractor environments.

* Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in construction.

* Excellent understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and cost control.

* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

* MRICS or working toward chartership (preferred).

* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
