Estimator
Are you an experienced Estimator looking for an exciting opportunity in a dynamic and well-established main contractor?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join a growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the project development, ensuring accurate cost estimates that align with the business strategic goals. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and control the production of costs for tender enquiries;
reviewing all tender documents, assessing and mitigating risk in packages and acquiring competitive market rates.
Develop positive relationships with the wider Pre-construction team, including Bid manager, Estimator, Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers and Building Services Team, as well as with relevant client representatives
Develop a robust and effective supply chain; nurture existing and supplementing with new sub-contractors.
Implement the use of Conquest within the tendering procedures.
Build and maintain strong relationships both internally and with the supply chain.
Manage the commercial tendering process to get best market value for a project.
Actively participate in tender kick offs, mid tender meetings, finalisations,
post tender interviews and internal handovers on project award.
Implement Conquest software for all tenders.
Recommend and develop improved systems and procedures for the business.Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, preferably with a main contractor.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and cost management.
Proficient in estimating software ConQuest.
Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Relevant degree or certification in construction management, engineering, or a related field is a plus.What We Offer:
