We’re currently seeking an experienced Freelance Building Surveyor to support a PFI Lifecycle condition survey programme across a healthcare estate in Manchester.
Role Overview: As part of a specialist surveying team, you will be responsible for carrying out detailed Lifecycle condition surveys in line with PFI contractual requirements. Your findings will support long-term asset management planning for a live healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Undertake condition surveys of healthcare buildings and infrastructure
Identify lifecycle maintenance requirements in accordance with PFI specifications
Accurately record condition data using pre-defined templates and systems
Liaise with on-site teams to ensure minimal disruption to healthcare services
Work independently to tight timescales while maintaining quality standardsRequirements:
Proven experience in conducting building condition surveys
Prior exposure to PFI contracts and healthcare estates is essential
Relevant qualifications (e.g. RICS, CIOB, or equivalent experience)
Strong reporting skills and attention to detail
