SALARY: £75,000 – £95,000

START: ASAP

LOCATION: Greenhithe, Kent – once a month visit

Are you a passionate and experienced fire engineer looking to take your career to the next level? Our client is a leading fire engineering consultancy renowned for delivering innovative systems and solutions that prioritise safety and design excellence. We are seeking a Senior Fire Engineer to join our dynamic team in London, where you will play a vital role in creating fire strategies that enhance safety while maintaining the aesthetic and functional qualities of buildings.

Your expertise will guide architects, contractors, and developers in ensuring fire safety is seamlessly integrated into their designs.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:

Lead the development of fire strategies, both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Review and interpret Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and zone models.
utilise Bluebeam to mark up plans and produce detailed fire strategy documents (from RIBA Stage 2 to As-Built, Gateway 1 to 3).
Present fire safety concepts to clients, authorities, and building control-acting as the reassuring expert.
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and best practises.SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

A degree in fire engineering or a related field, with demonstrable relevant experience.
A drive towards achieving chartered status (if not already).
Solid experience with site visits and inspections of existing buildings and during construction.
Effective communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
Strong analytical abilities and proficient report-writing skills.
Familiarity with UK legislation and design guidance.
A full UK driving licence
