Site Manager

Our client are a well-established building and refurbishment contractor operating across London, Hertfordshire, and the Home Counties. With a strong portfolio in healthcare (NHS), education, commercial, and high-end residential sectors, we are now seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager to join their growing team.

About the Role

As a Site Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering both new build and refurbishment projects across a diverse range of sectors. You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety compliance, driving project schedules, and maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage on-site activities for construction and refurbishment projects from inception to completion

* Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, site staff, and materials

* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards

* Monitor project progress and report to senior management

* Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships

* Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Site Manager in construction or refurbishment

* Background in delivering projects in the healthcare, education, commercial, or high-end residential sectors

* Strong leadership and communication skills

* Excellent knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, and building regulations

* SMSTS, CSCS (Gold or Black Card), and First Aid certification (preferred)

* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel within London and surrounding areas
