Managing Quantity Surveyor

We're seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead a commercial team within the Renewable Connections division. You’ll be responsible for overseeing project costs, cash flow, contractual changes, and stakeholder engagement. The role also includes subcontractor management, risk assessment, and process optimisation to enhance efficiency.

Managing Quantity Surveyor Remuneration

* Salary: £75,000 – £85,000

Managing Quantity Surveyor Duties

* Leading cost control and commercial functions on key UK projects

* Producing monthly financial reports and forecasts

* Managing project cost-to-complete (CTC) analysis, including risks and opportunities

* Capturing site records for variations and valuations

* Supporting the delivery team and driving financial performance

Managing Quantity Surveyor

* Qualification in Quantity Surveying

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Contract knowledge (FIDIC – Yellow & Silver Book, NEC 4 Option A, JCT Design & Build)

* Understanding of contract costing and contract law

* Experience in subcontract management

* Preferred: knowledge of the electricity sector
