Job Description:

You would be working for a UK leading contractor. We are seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager with expertise in building construction projects for the technology, biopharma, energy or high tech sector. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing building services construction projects ensuring they meet quality standards, timelines, and budget constraints. Key Responsibilities:

– Lead and manage construction projects, coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
– Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
– Monitor project progress and performance, implementing change management strategies as needed.
– Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
– Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
– Identify and mitigate project risks and issues effectively.
– Report project status to senior management and stakeholders.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
– Proven experience in managing construction projects within the energy and technology sector.
– Strong understanding of commercial aspects and change management.
– Excellent knowledge of contract management and negotiation.
– Proficiency in project planning and program management tools.
– Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
