HVAC Service and Maintenance Engineer
Our client Specializing in HVAC Services and Maintenance is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Mobile HVAC Service and Maintenance Engineer to join Their dynamic team.
This role involves the maintenance, service, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems across various locations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a mobile capacity.
Duties:
HVAC Maintenance and Service:
* Perform routine and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heating systems, ventilation units, and refrigeration systems.
* Conduct system inspections, identify potential issues, and execute repairs to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.
System Upgrades:
* Upgrade existing systems to enhance performance and energy efficiency.
Troubleshooting and Repairs:
* Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions, breakdowns, and inefficiencies.
* Repair or replace defective components, including motors, compressors, pumps, fans, and thermostats.
Customer Service and Communication:
* Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding service schedules, maintenance procedures, and system performance.
* Educate clients on proper system operation and maintenance to prevent future issues.
Documentation and Reporting:
* Maintain accurate records of all service and maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and system conditions.
* Generate detailed service reports and provide feedback to the Service Manager for continuous improvement.
Compliance and Safety:
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the proper handling and disposal of refrigerants and hazardous materials.
* Ensure all work is performed in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Mobile Operations:
* Travel to various client locations to provide on-site service and maintenance.
* Manage a company-provided vehicle and ensure it is stocked with necessary tools and parts.
Requirements:
* Knowledge in mechanical services, HVAC, plumbing, Domestic services & Domestic and commercial Gas appliances.
* HVAC plant knowledge.
* H & S Accreditation (CSCS Card or equivalent)
* IT Literate with experience of MS Office Products, Google Cloud.
* Relevant technical qualification in HVAC, Refrigeration, plumbing, Domestic services & Gas safe or Mechanical Engineering.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HVAC service and maintenance, with a strong emphasis on multi-skilled capabilities.
* Valid HVAC certifications (e.g., EPA 608, F-Gas certification) and a valid driver's license.
