About the Role:
On behalf of our client, a well-established and reputable civil engineering contractor, we are currently seeking an experienced Project Planner to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning and delivery of complex infrastructure projects across the UK
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive planning professional with a solid background in civil engineering and proven proficiency in Primavera P6.

Project Planner
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, update, and manage detailed project programmes using Primavera P6 across all project phases.
Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and delivery teams to ensure programme accuracy and alignment with site progress.
Produce baseline programmes, progress updates, and look-ahead schedules.
Identify critical path activities and support mitigation planning where delays or risks are identified.
Liaise with subcontractors and clients to incorporate third-party inputs into the overall programme.
Prepare planning documentation for tender submissions and ongoing project reporting.
Ensure programmes are fully resourced and cost-loaded as required.
Project Planner
Candidate Requirements:
Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential.
Proven experience in a planning role within the civil engineering or infrastructure sector.
Familiarity with NEC and/or other forms of construction contracts.
Degree-qualified in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
Experience with other planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Asta Powerproject).
Background in sectors such as highways, rail, utilities, or major infrastructure.
