We are in partnership with an established client, boasting an enviable reputation of integrity and excellence in the brownfield sector. They specialise in detailed innovative design led remediation strategies, enabling works and onsite waste management. Due to further contract award success, they are now seeking an experienced Site Manager to cover Midlands projects, predominantly.
The Role – Site Manager
Our client works with a wide range of public and private sector clients across the UK, delivering complex remediation, earthworks, and enabling works schemes.
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of projects, leading site teams and managing subcontractors on technically challenging brownfield & enabling works schemes. You’ll be the key on-the-ground lead, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance – and taking pride in delivering successful outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the day-to-day site management of remediation, enabling, and associated works.

Plan and manage projects from pre-start through to completion, ensuring programme, cost, and quality targets are achieved.

Manage subcontractors and suppliers on site, including coordination, supervision, and quality assurance.
*
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
*
Liaise with internal teams and clients to report on progress, resolve issues, and maintain strong working relationships.
*
Support the production of site documentation including RAMS, site diaries, progress reports, permits and compliance paperwork.
*
Collaborate with the Technical and Commercial teams to ensure smooth delivery.
*
Input into tendering, method statements, and resourcing plans where required.
Skills and Experience
*
5+ years’ experience in a remediation, groundworks, or civil engineering site management role.
*
Strong understanding of contaminated land, materials management, and enabling works.
*
Confident managing HSEQ requirements, subcontractors, and delivery teams.
*
Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to lead by example.
*
Competent in cost control, site reporting, and programme management.
*
Comfortable working with project teams to review technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
*
Knowledge of NEC, JCT or ICC contracts is desirable.
*
SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS card (black/gold) preferred.
*
Full UK driving licence required.
