Site Engineer

Are you a driven Site Engineer looking to join a respected main contractor with a strong pipeline of regional projects?

We're working with a long-established contractor known for delivering quality build projects across commercial, industrial, residential, and public sector schemes. Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint a permanent Site Engineer to support project delivery across sites in Yorkshire and surrounding regions.

About the role:

As a Site Engineer, you'll play a key role in setting out, QA, and ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and technical requirements. Working closely with the Site Manager and Contracts Manager, you'll support the delivery of high-quality builds across a variety of sectors.

Key responsibilities:

Setting out and surveying using appropriate instruments

Assisting with site quality assurance and as-built documentation

Working with design and construction teams to resolve technical issues

Supporting site teams with coordination and day-to-day engineering input

Ensuring health & safety, quality, and programme standards are met

Qualifications & Requirements:

Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or Construction-related field

CSCS card (Engineer/Professionally Qualified level)

SSSTS or SMSTS (desirable)

First Aid certification (desirable)

Proficient in setting out tools and software (e.g. Total Station, AutoCAD)

Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and safety standards

Prior experience working for a main contractor or large subcontractor
