Quantity Surveyor

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects, providing essential cost advice and shaping the future of the built environment.
The Role
Preparing cost plans and feasibility studies at early design stages.
Managing and monitoring project budgets.
Tendering and procurement, including drafting tender documentation.
Contract administration and preparation of interim valuations.
Cost reporting and forecasting through to final account.
Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact.
Mentoring junior members of the team (if at Senior level).
Supporting business development and contributing to new work opportunities. You
MRICS qualified (or working towards, for intermediate level).
Minimum 4–8 years’ relevant PQS experience.
Strong background in cost consultancy across residential or commercial sectors.
Ability to manage projects independently or as part of a wider team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in relevant software (CostX, Excel, etc.).
Strong understanding of construction contracts (JCT, NEC).
