Senior Quantity Surveyor
The Role:
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will:
Lead and manage the commercial aspects of water infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
Prepare accurate cost estimates, develop and manage project budgets, and track expenditure.
Prepare and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
Manage variations, claims, and final accounts.
Ensure compliance with all relevant contractual obligations and industry standards within the water sector.
Mentor and guide junior members of the quantity surveying team.
Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and site teams.
Contribute to a positive and efficient working environment.
What We're Looking For:
A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying (e.g., BSc Quantity Surveying, MSc Quantity Surveying, or equivalent).
Significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the water sector, including experience on projects such as water treatment works, wastewater treatment works, pipelines, and reservoirs.
Excellent understanding of water industry regulations, best practices, and cost control methodologies.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to accurately forecast costs and manage budgets effectively.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
