Quantity Surveyor

The Role:
We're urgently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to work for a thriving M&E contractor based in the West Midlands. Our client is willing to consider candidates from all sectors/backgrounds as long as they have experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.
This is a great opportunity to steer your career into the M&E sector where QS's are always in demand, or continue to develop your career in the building services sector if you already have M&E experience! Training & support will of course be given.
With a friendly Commercial team already in place, you will help share the workload across our client's numerous projects secured and pending.
Key Responsibilities:
* Help manage all MEP cost-related aspects of the projects.
* Collaborate closely with the main contractor and the MEP project team to deliver project objectives on time and within budget.
* Help prepare tender and contract documents.
* Conduct cost analysis and performance reporting for the MEP components.
* Prepare and analyse costings for tenders.
* Conduct feasibility studies and assist in establishing client requirements.
* Perform risk, value management, and cost control.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
* Engage in proactive problem-solving and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple priorities.
* Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field is preferred.
