We are working on behalf of a highly regarded construction consultancy based in Central London to recruit a MRICS-qualified Quantity Surveyor. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven QS to join a progressive, design-conscious firm delivering complex and high-quality projects across a wide range of sectors.

The consultancy works with prestigious clients across commercial, residential, education, and mixed-use developments – both new build and refurbishment – and takes pride in delivering with precision, transparency, and integrity.

Role Overview:

You'll be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of projects, providing cost consultancy and commercial leadership across high-profile schemes in London and the South East. You'll also play a key role in client relationship management and will have the opportunity to mentor junior staff*and contribute to the ongoing growth of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre- and post-contract cost management
Preparation of cost plans, estimates, and tender documentation
Procurement advice and contract administration
Cost reporting, valuations, and change control
Value engineering and risk management
Managing client relationships and delivering commercially sound adviceRequirements:

MRICS qualified (or very close to completion)
Minimum 4+ years' experience in a consultancy / PQS environment
Proven ability to manage projects independently
Strong technical knowledge of UK construction and contracts (JCT)
Confident communicator with excellent client-facing skillsWhat's on Offer:
