Project Manager
A leading multidisciplinary consultancy based in Sheffield is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive Project Manager looking to take the next step in their career, working across a broad portfolio of high-value developments in the built environment sector.
As a Project Manager, you will gain direct responsibility for projects from inception through to completion, including full client and contractor liaison. The role provides an ideal platform for a driven Project Manager to develop professionally with the backing of structured support, mentoring, and clear progression routes. Support towards chartership (RICS, CIOB or equivalent) is actively provided, with opportunities to lead on a variety of projects across commercial, residential, and education sectors.
The Project Manager's role
The Project Manager will deliver core project management services, including preparing feasibility reports, developing programmes, leading tender processes, and managing meetings. You will be responsible for administering contracts (particularly JCT and NEC), coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, and maintaining quality control throughout project lifecycles.
You'll also work closely with clients, contractors and consultants to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget, while maintaining high standards of reporting, compliance and health and safety. Your ability to work independently and manage competing priorities will be key to success in this role.
The Project Manager
A degree in Construction Project Management or a related discipline
Experience delivering projects across RIBA stages
Strong understanding of JCT and NEC contracts (NEC preferred but not essential)
Contract administration and procurement knowledge
Chartered (MRICS, MCIOB) or actively working towards chartership – full support available
Excellent communication and organisational skills
