Senior Project Manager
A respected multidisciplinary consultancy based in South London is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their National Programmes team. This opportunity is ideal for a Senior Project Manager looking to take the lead on significant public sector projects while benefiting from a flexible hybrid working model. The successful Senior Project Manager will manage and deliver complex schemes across local government, blue light services, and central departments. As a key figure within the team, the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing project delivery from initial brief through to completion, ensuring value, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction at every stage.
The Senior Project Manager's role
The Senior Project Manager will take ownership of multiple live, operational projects, managing the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and procurement to post-completion. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and be responsible for contract administration, stakeholder reporting, and ensuring all works meet safety, commercial, and quality standards.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include preparing key stage reports, coordinating client and contractor meetings, leading on tender responses, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget. Familiarity with NEC and JCT forms of contract is essential, and experience working on public sector frameworks is highly desirable.

To be considered for the role of Senior Project Manager, candidates should demonstrate:
A degree in Construction Project Management or a related construction discipline
Significant experience delivering construction projects within a consultancy environment
Chartered status (MRICS or equivalent), or currently working towards it
NEC accreditation is desirable – support can be provided if not yet attained
Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and complex project programmes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A proactive, well-organised, and commercially aware approach
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience
