As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their commercial team on a fully remote basis.
About the Role
This is a fully remote Estimator position, focused on pricing specialist joinery and bespoke carpentry packages. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the estimating process from initial enquiry through to final submission, ensuring accurate, detailed, and competitive pricing.
Key responsibilities include:

Preparing detailed cost estimates for joinery and carpentry packages based on drawings, specifications, and scope documents
*
Performing material and labour take-offs using drawings and design information
*
Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
*
Reviewing tender documents and assessing risks, constraints, and opportunities
*
Supporting the wider commercial team in pricing variations and negotiating final accounts
*
Producing clear, organised tender submissions and BOQs

Requirements
*
Proven experience as an Estimator within specialist joinery or carpentry (essential)
*
Strong understanding of commercial fit-out environments and D&B processes
*
Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings and specifications
*
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with supply chain partners
*
Strong attention to detail, with a methodical and organised approach to estimating
*
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar)
