Are you a Project Manager looking to lead a sustainable industrial development in Manchester? Our client, a respected Industrial / Shed building main contractor, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a cutting-edge scheme comprising four two-storey industrial units on a 12-month contract (minimum), freelance or permanent (if permanent there are schemes thereafter to move on to)
Opportunity
As Project Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for delivering a complex industrial build, including demolition, construction, service yards, parking, EV charging, access roads, substations, refuse and boundary treatments. You’ll manage multi-disciplinary subcontractors, liaise with stakeholders, ensure compliance with planning, and drive the project to achieve a BREEAM Very Good rating, reinforcing the company’s reputation for sustainable development.
Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle, from mobilisation through to handover
* Coordinate structural, M&E, civils, landscaping, EV infrastructure, and service utility work
* Maintain safety, environmental, and quality standards
* Manage client, local authority, and stakeholder relationships
* Mitigate project risks and oversee project budget, programme, and resources
* Ensure BREEAM compliance and sustainability commitments are delivered
