Quantity Surveyor

A contractor specialising in structural steel is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team in South Gloucestershire.

Salary: £65,000 + £7,200 car allowance
Start Date: ASAP
Work Arrangement: Permanent, full-time

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the full commercial lifecycle of steelwork projects
* Evaluate subcontract agreements including terms, warranties, and financial securities
* Prepare and submit variations, claims, and valuations for interim and final accounts
* Track project performance, manage cost reporting and support cashflow planning
* Provide commercial insight to internal teams and external clients
* Resolve and finalise subcontractor accounts
* Attend client and subcontractor meetings on-site nationwide as required

Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience in construction commercial roles, ideally in structural steel
* Academic background such as HND or degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
* RICS membership preferred but not essential
* Strong contractual and analytical capability
