Workshop Assistant – Carpentry

A well established, fast paced Designer, Manufacturer & Supplier to Construction Sector are seeking a Workshop Assistant to join their team at an exciting time of company growth.

Immediate start available. Full Training provided. Would suit candidates with a carpentry / joinery skillset or a carpentry qualification looking for an entry level role.

As the Workshop Assistant your core responsibilities will include:

Manufacturing and fabrication of stair edges and handrail units.
Working with machinery & tools: bench saws, wall saws, pillar drills, hand power tools & adhesives.
Maintaining a tidy workshop.

We are looking for a Workshop Assistant with:

Carpentry / joinery experience or related carpentry qualification looking for an entry level job.
Used to working with saws / hand power tools.
Ability to read a basic technical drawing or willingness to learn.
Attention to detail.
Practical mindset.
Excellent communication skills and enjoy working as a team.
