Are you an experienced Site Engineer with active SC (Security Check) Clearance looking for a challenging and critical project? We are seeking a highly capable individual to join our team on a sensitive Ministry of Defence (MOD) project.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a vital national infrastructure project, working on external works within a secure environment.
The Role: As Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the external works subcontractor. Your precision, attention to detail, and ability to work within strict protocols will be key to success.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing and coordinating the external works subcontractor to ensure timely and quality delivery.
Overseeing setting out, levels, and quality control for all external works packages.
Ensuring strict adherence to project specifications, drawings, and MOD requirements.
Implementing and monitoring rigorous health, safety, and security procedures on site.
Conducting regular site inspections and progress monitoring of external works.
Problem-solving and technical query resolution.
Maintaining accurate site records and documentation.
Liaising effectively with the main contractor's team, MOD representatives, and other stakeholders.What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a Site Engineer, ideally with previous MOD or secure environment project experience.
MUST hold current and in-date SC (Security Check) Clearance. (Applications without active SC Clearance cannot be considered at this time).
Strong technical understanding of external works, including earthworks, drainage, paving, and landscaping.
Proficiency in setting out using modern surveying equipment (e.g., Total Stations, GPS).
Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a highly disciplined team.
Relevant construction qualifications.
Valid SMSTS and First Aid at Work certifications are highly desirable.
