Senior Engineering Manager – Up to £120,000 DOE + Excellent Bonus + Package

First Task Professional are delighted to be working alongside a contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering civil engineering and infrastructure projects across multiple sectors throughout the UK.

Due to recent framework wins, they are gearing up to build 6 substation upgrades, 3 OHL diversions and 1 new build OHL route and as such are looking to build their team with several key hires-

They are presently seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to deliver from Concept through to Construction phases of the awarded work. There is also opportunity to be involved in bidding for future projects within the power sector.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee all engineering activities from bid to delivery stage.

* Allocate resources and ensure staff competency and training.

* Act as primary client contact; manage engineering relationships.

* Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and CDM regulations.

* Support tendering, pre-contracts, and contract mobilisation.

* Drive innovation, best practices, and continuous improvement.

* Represent the company in industry forums and ensure legislative compliance.

Candidate Profile:

* Experience in Senior Engineering Manager / Snr Design Management roles

* Strong civils background; civil infrastructure experience considered.

* Relevant engineering qualifications; ICE chartership preferred.
