Civils Supervisor
Our client, a respected and fast-growing regional civil engineering contractor, is looking for a Civils Supervisor to support delivery on a newly awarded 4-year framework with Bristol City Council. This long-term programme of work focuses on highways and infrastructure projects, including essential bridge remediation and improvement schemes ranging from £1m to £10m in value.

As a Civils Supervisor, you’ll play a hands-on leadership role on site—ensuring work is carried out efficiently, safely, and to spec. You’ll work closely with Site Agents, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate day-to-day activities, manage resources, and maintain quality across all aspects of delivery.
As a Civils Supervisor you will:
* Provide regular updates to the Contracts Manager on project progress, including budget, programme, and design issues.
* Ensure that health and safety standards and industry regulations are strictly adhered to on site.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns and attending regular project meetings.
* Prepare, verify, and implement designs on-site in line with the relevant specifications and drawings.

Our client requires a Civils Supervisor with:
* Valid CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certificates.
* Proven experience managing highways and earthworks projects.
* Strong understanding of construction health and safety protocols.
* Excellent communication skills.
* A relevant HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Salary and benefits include:
* £45,000 – £50,000 per annum

* 27 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
* Enhanced pension contributions – employer contributions 7.5%
