Project Manager

A well-established multidisciplinary consultancy based in London is seeking an ambitious Project Manager to join its growing team. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality built environment solutions, they are looking for a proactive and driven Project Manager to support a wide range of civil engineering and construction projects. This is a full-time, permanent role offering excellent career development and the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects.

As a Project Manager, you will take responsibility for smaller-scale schemes while supporting senior colleagues on major programmes. The ideal Project Manager will be confident managing project timelines, tracking actions and milestones, and ensuring project and document management plans are correctly implemented. You will be a key liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring smooth project delivery from inception through to close out.

The Project Manager's role

The Project Manager will lead on tracking and monitoring project progress, updating contractual milestones, and communicating essential time recording instructions. You will also be responsible for setting up documentation systems and ensuring delivery in line with key deadlines. As your experience grows, you'll take on more responsibility for client communication and coordination on larger schemes.

The Project Manager

To be successful as a Project Manager, you will ideally have:

A Diploma/BSc/MSc in Project Management or a related construction discipline

Working towards (or open to pursuing) MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM or PRINCE2 accreditation

Knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and similar software tools

Good communication and organisational skills

Awareness of CDM regulations and holding (or willingness to obtain) a CSCS card

Consultancy-side experience delivering civil engineering or construction projects

Experience working on Environment Agency schemes is desirable
