Project Manager – Cut & Carve Projects

Ridgeway & Co are working with a well-established main contractor specialising in complex structural refurbishment and heavy alteration schemes, as they look to appoint an experienced Project Manager to deliver a series of upcoming cut and carve projects in Central London.

These projects will involve significant structural interventions, including façade retention, core alterations, basement reconfigurations, and steelwork modifications within live or logistically constrained environments.

Responsibilities:

Lead the project from pre-construction through to final handover

*

Coordinate directly with site teams, design consultants, and subcontractors

*

Develop and maintain programme timelines, logistics plans, and safety strategy

*

Oversee procurement, progress reporting, and commercial control with QS team

*

Maintain control of site quality, health & safety, and compliance

*

Act as client liaison and chair regular progress meetings

Requirements:

*

Proven experience delivering cut and carve, structural alteration, or complex refurbishment projects

*

Strong technical understanding of structural sequencing, temporary works, and site logistics

*

Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills

*

SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS (Black or White Card)

*

London project experience highly desirable
