Our client, a leading firm in the civil engineering sector, is seeking a dedicated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in the East Midlands.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and management of project budgets and cost control measures.

Support in the assessment of project risks and opportunities.

Prepare and submit cost estimates based on project plans and specifications.

Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project efficiency.

Monitor and report on project progress and financial performance.

Assist in managing contract documents and variations.

Participate in site visits to monitor progress and compliance.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Experience in the civil engineering sector is highly desirable.

Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.

Strong analytical and numerical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Motivated and eager to learn, with a keen interest in the field of quantity surveying.
