Job Responsibilities:

Evaluate project plans and specifications to prepare accurate estimates.

Analyse labour, material, and overhead costs to ensure competitive and profitable bids.

Collaborate with project managers and site staff to understand project requirements.

Conduct site visits and assessments as necessary.

Maintain and update cost databases for future use.

Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure the best value.

Prepare and present detailed estimates for review by stakeholders.

Assist in bid negotiation processes to secure project contracts.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Estimator in the civil engineering sector.

Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
